Installing Lyricify Mobile
Section titled “Installing Lyricify Mobile”You can install and use Lyricify Mobile on Android, iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Windows devices.
Installing on Android Devices
Section titled “Installing on Android Devices”Download the .apk installation package, open it, and click install.
Installing on iPhone or iPad
Section titled “Installing on iPhone or iPad”Currently, Lyricify Mobile is not available on the App Store. For specific reasons, see Will the iOS version be available on the App Store.
You can install it using a self-signed method after downloading the .ipa installation package. For detailed steps, refer to Apple Device Self-Signing Guide.
Installing on Mac
Section titled “Installing on Mac”Simply download the macOS.pkg to install it. (Recommended)
You can also download the .macOS.zip, and drag the Lyricify Mobile for macOS.app from the compressed package into the Applications folder to complete the installation.
Using on Windows
Section titled “Using on Windows”Lyricify Mobile for Windows is in a testing phase and is not recommended for daily use. It is advisable to use the fully functional Lyricify 4.
After downloading .Windows.zip, extract it and run Lyricify Mobile.WPF.exe.
Using Lyricify Mobile
Section titled “Using Lyricify Mobile”Before you start using Lyricify Mobile, you need to complete the login authorization for your Spotify account within Lyricify Mobile.
For most devices, you can log in directly through the pop-up login webpage. Some devices may require additional configuration.
Completing Login on Mac Devices
Section titled “Completing Login on Mac Devices”Lyricify Mobile for macOS only supports embedded web login. If you encounter issues during direct login, you may try using another platform’s device to assist with the login.
Currently, you can use another platform’s device to complete the authorization through the following methods.
Using a Windows Device
Section titled “Using a Windows Device”You can use a Windows device to complete the login authorization for Lyricify Mobile for macOS. The specific steps are as follows:
- Install Lyricify 4 on the Windows device and complete the login authorization.
- Open the Lyricify 4 main menu (top left
···), findAdvanced, and clickCopy Refresh Token. - The authorization information is now copied to your Windows clipboard, and you can transfer this information to your Mac device using other software.
- Open Lyricify Mobile for macOS on your Mac device, click the
Backbutton in the top left corner, and you will see three text boxes. Please paste the authorization information in the third box (Spotify Refresh Token). - Click the
Continuebutton to complete the login authorization.
Using an iPhone, iPad, or Android Device
Section titled “Using an iPhone, iPad, or Android Device”You can use an iPhone, iPad, or Android device to complete the login authorization for Lyricify Mobile for macOS. The specific steps are as follows:
- After installing Lyricify Mobile on your iPhone, iPad, or Android device and completing the login authorization, close Lyricify Mobile.
- Open Lyricify Mobile, and when the
Logging inpage appears, click theCancelbutton below. You will then see three text boxes. - Open Lyricify Mobile for macOS on your Mac device, click the
Backbutton in the top left corner, and you will see the same three text boxes. - Copy the contents from the text boxes on your iPhone, iPad, or Android device to the corresponding text boxes on your Mac device.
- Click the
Continuebutton to complete the login authorization.
Completing Login on Windows Devices
Section titled “Completing Login on Windows Devices”Lyricify Mobile for Windows does not support web login and requires manual input of the Token. For similar situations, refer to Completing Login on Mac Devices.
Common Issues During Login
Section titled “Common Issues During Login”Unable to Log In
Section titled “Unable to Log In”Red box message: Oops! Something went wrong.
Network issues.
Solution
Section titled “Solution”Use a VPN.
Invalid Client: Invalid Redirect URI During Login
Section titled “Invalid Client: Invalid Redirect URI During Login”Check if your Redirect URI is correctly filled out. Ensure that both Redirect URIs in the Custom Spotify API Client Configuration Guide are correctly filled.
Make sure you are using version 1.5.0 or later of Lyricify Mobile and that you are using redirect browser login. Due to adjustments by Spotify, embedded web login is only supported in version 1.5.1 or later of Lyricify Mobile.
Unable to Access Lyrics Interface Properly
Section titled “Unable to Access Lyrics Interface Properly”Message connection closed: Check your network
Message invalid_grant: Log in again
