Startup Message Box After Launching Lyricify
Note: This issue only occurs in version 4.2.11 or earlier.
After opening Lyricify, a message box pops up with one of the following prompts:
- The SSL connection could not be established, see inner exception.
- Unable to connect because the target machine actively refused it.
- The requested name is valid, but the data of the requested type could not be found.
- The connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or the host did not respond.
After confirming/closing the message box, Lyricify closes.
Causes
Section titled “Causes”Poor network connection status prevents automatic updates from completing.
Solutions
Section titled “Solutions”- Use the Microsoft Store version, which has automatic updates managed by Microsoft, making it more convenient and stable than the built-in updates of Lyricify, so it is strongly recommended.
- First, manually update to the latest version, then switch the update source to
GitHubinSettingsAdvancedUpdatesUpdate Source. After the next update release (it is recommended to enable a network proxy), if the update works normally, it can be used normally; if it still cannot update properly, it is recommended to use the Microsoft Store version.
