Startup Message Box After Launching Lyricify
Note: This issue only occurs in version 4.2.11 or earlier.
After opening Lyricify, a message box pops up with one of the following prompts:
- The SSL connection could not be established, see inner exception.
- Unable to connect because the target machine actively refused it.
- The requested name is valid, but the requested type of data could not be found.
- The connection attempt failed because the connection party did not respond properly after a period of time, or the linked host did not respond.
After confirming/closing the message box, Lyricify closes.
Causes
Section titled “Causes”Poor network connection status prevents automatic updates from completing.
Solutions
Section titled “Solutions”- Use the Microsoft Store version, which has automatic updates managed by Microsoft, making it more convenient and stable than the updates provided by Lyricify itself, so it is strongly recommended to use.
- First, manually update to the latest version, then switch the update source to
GitHubinSettingsAdvancedUpdatesUpdate Source. After the next update is released (it is recommended to enable a network proxy), if it updates normally, it can be used normally; if it still cannot update normally, it is recommended to use the Microsoft Store version.
