Auto Update
Lyricify 4 supports auto updates, with the following policies.
Microsoft Store Version
Section titled “Microsoft Store Version”The auto update for the Microsoft Store version is managed by Microsoft.
The default policy for Lyricify 4 is to automatically check for updates at startup. If an update is available, it will request the Microsoft Store for a silent update, which will be completed when the user closes Lyricify 4 or restarts the application.
You can modify this policy in the settings of Lyricify 4.
Non-Microsoft Store Version (GitHub Version)
Section titled “Non-Microsoft Store Version (GitHub Version)”The auto update for the non-Microsoft Store version is managed by Lyricify 4.
Lyricify 4 will automatically check for updates at startup. If an update is available, it will download and install the update immediately, automatically restarting Lyricify 4 during the update process.
Lyricify 4 has auto updates enabled by default, and you can modify this policy in the settings to disable regular updates. It is important to note that forced updates for significantly outdated versions are not affected by this setting.
